Billie Kay talks about how her victory over Aliyah puts her one step closer to taking over the NXT Women’s Division.
Billie Kay def. Aliyah
As NXT Women’s Champion Asuka continues to insist that no one is ready to face her, the rest of the division is out to prove The Empress of Tomorrow wrong. Aliyah came out of the gates strong against Billie Kay, but the size and strength she gave up to the Australian competitor proved to be the difference. Billie stopped Aliyah in her tracks with a big boot to the face to pick up a big win.
Ember Moon def. Billie Kay
Billie Kay was looking to shut down newcomer Ember Moon in her debut match, but Moon proved to be a difficult opponent for the egotistical Australian.
Moon showed off incredible agility early on, dizzying Kay with dazzling escapes and reversals. After a flying crossbody off the ropes by Moon, a frustrated Kay pounced on her opponent and pummeled Moon into the canvas. The fiery-eyed NXT newcomer could not be kept down for the three-count, much to the dismay of Kay.
Moon rebounded, fighting back by hammering Kay to the mat before unleashing a primal war cry. Moon clotheslined Kay in the corner, then scaled the ropes, dove off and caught Kay with a twisting stunner that brought Brooklyn to its feet and made sure her debut was a successful one.
Ember Moon vs. Billie Kay
The heat in the NXT Women’s division will be turned up at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, when the fiery Ember Moon makes her debut against Billie Kay.
For weeks, the NXT Universe has been watching ominous videos heralding the arrival of the mysterious Moon. The missives declare her debut as the beginning of a new age and the carving of a new path. Until now, the challenges that lie ahead of Moon had been untold.
That was, until Billie Kay walked into NXT General Manager William Regal’s office. Since appearing on SmackDown in June, the femme fatale’s ego has been getting bigger and bigger, rubbing many the wrong way. Invigorated by the bright lights of SmackDown, Kay returned to NXT and went on a tear, putting together a string of impressive victories. With just days left before TakeOver, Kay confronted Regal, demanding to be put on the huge WWE Network special event. Regal granted her wish and gave Kay the first crack at Ember Moon.
Will Ember Moon fulfill the prophecy of fire that has preceded her, or will Billie Kay prove that the spotlight should be on her? Find out at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, live this Saturday at 8 ET/5 PT, only on WWE Network!

Billie Kay def. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan showed off an exceptional set of moves, but she could not overcome the red-hot Billie Kay. The New Jersey native employed a fast-paced attack, but in the end, a vicious big boot from Kay proved to be the difference maker in yet another impressive victory for the former basketball player.
